Mountain Ash Golf Club was founded in 1908 and boasts some of the most amazing views across the Brecon Brecons. This is a typical Valleys course where you are guaranteed a more than warm welcome. Societies are also welcome here by prior arrangement. Mountain Ash is a mature, challenging course with some hilly fairways. On top of this, there are some stunning views across the Cynon Valley. It boasts a reputation of being one of the best courses in South Wales thus providing a genuine test to your skills. It is certainly not a long course but the fact that no two holes run in the same direction should tell you what kind of challenge you will face. Every holes is unique and, despite being located on the side of the valley, provides an interesting game of golf!. The course is four miles north of Abercynon and can be found quite easily by taking the A470 from Pontypridd. At Mountain Ash turn right by the sports centre and follow the road to the left.
