You’ll find a number of outdoor pursuit centres nearby offering everything from archery and mountain biking to quad biking and clay pigeon shooting. For mountain bike enthusiasts there’s the newly opened trail at Cwmcarn Forest Drive, which is equivalent to the thrills of the trails in Colorado. Here too, finds 750 miles of footpaths and walks. A countryside trail with a difference can be experienced by negotiating a 200cc Honda all-terrain quad bike. At Taff Buggy Trails the route through mountain streams and woodlands is exhilarating!
Thrill seekers will love the Welsh International Climbing Centre. It has the highest indoor climbing wall in Europe along with an indoor cave – a unique facility modelled on an existing cave system. You’ve got to try the High Ropes Course – can you see yourself suspended 55 foot in the air, riding the “death slide”?
